Text. Rev. 3:7-13
“Four Reasons I Believe the King James Bible is the
Word of God”
Vs. 11 "hold that fast which thou hast” Verse 11 gives reference to
what the church at Philadelphia was keeping in verse 8 and again in verse 10,
The Word of God. I believe the Word of God is the Final Authority pertaining
to faith and practice! No were in the bible does it say that God was to preserve
the traditions of man, nor did he say that he would preserve his word by the
hand of man but that HE would preserve His Word for ever. (Psalms 12:6&7)
I would like to give you the four reasons I believe the King James Bible is the
very pure preserved Word of God!
I. Superior Text- Matthew 7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither
can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
The King James Bible uses as it
s text the Textus Receptus or the Received Text. This
means that the King James Bible is supported by Ninety
Five percent of all manuscript evidence. All other
translations are based on the remaining five percent
evidence. The Alexandrian Text is were every other
version, (outside the NKJV, that’s another message),
uses as it’s underlying Greek Manuscripts. This
text is comprised of the Codices Vaticanus, which was
found in a trash heap outside the Vatican, and the
Sinaiticus, which was found in a library at the foot
of Mt. Sinai. These two sets of manuscripts DISAGREE
with one another over 3000 time in just the four gospels
alone. Needless to say, the underlying Textus Receptus
of the King James Bible is the correct manuscripts
to translate the Word of God.

II. Spiritual Translators- 2 Peter 1:21
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man:
but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy
Ghost.
Time has never seen, nor ever
will see again, the caliber of men that took this undertaking.
Not only were they the most educated men of there day,
maybe of all time, but they also were engrossed in
the study of the scriptures. The 47 men that translated
the King James bible from the original tongues and
the former translations diligently compared and revised
were indeed the best qualified men EVER!

III. Social Testing- Psalms 12:6 The words
of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace
of earth, purified seven times.
If you take a look at history,
depending on whose you believe, you will find that
during the time of Catholic rule, the world was engulfed
in Darkness aka The Dark Age . Why, because the Catholic
church outlawed the bible and the bible says in Psalms
119:130 The entrance of thy words giveth light; it
giveth understanding unto the simple. Then when you
look at what took place when the bible was placed into
the hands of His believes, we have a time period called
The Great Awakening and with King James Bible in hand
the Church turned the world upside down. And now, with
all the other perversions going around no one knows
what the Word of God is so there is a great day of
apostasy! Time has tested the King James Bible to be
the very Word of God!!!

IV. Simple Trusting- (In a word, Faith!)
Matthew 4:4 It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone,
but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Now, if God made such a statement
that we are to live by EVERY WORD that proceedeth out
of the mouth of God, I just believe God that we do
have EVERY WORD. And I believe it to be the King James
Bible. All other versions remove and add to what has
already time tested proof positive to be the very Word
of God and if they are added to or removed then they
can’t be every word of God so the King James
must be the VERY EVERY WORD OF GOD!!!
